Harvard Business Services Branches Out

IPFrontline.com

Lewes, Delaware — Emmy award winning media veteran George Merlis and Harvard Business Services (HBS) have posted the fourth and final installment of their blog series, “Writing a Business Book… Why and How?” The series provides practical information to anyone interested in writing a book on business.

“We at Harvard Business Services have a long tradition of helping guide entrepreneurs through what can sometimes be a daunting process of starting their own business,” says Rick Bell, chairman of Harvard Business Services, a leading provider of business formation services. “This blog series is the next step in our continued efforts to help support the aspirations of entrepreneurs across the nation and the globe.”

George Merlis, author of the blog series is an Emmy award winning former producer for ABC’s Good Morning America and is the author or co-author of five published books, available on Amazon.com. Following are some of the helpful tips about book promotion provided in the latest installment:

• Write a blog about your area of expertise and plug the book on each blog entry. I do that with my media tips and critiques website.

• Give speeches and include the cost of a book in your fee for each attendee. If your book is designed to drive business to your company, you are getting paid to promote your business.

• Give speeches for free on the condition that you can sell the book at the end of the address.

The popular HBS Blog covers a wide variety of topics ranging from the business basics of incorporating to tips on raising capital. Harvard Business Services started the blog as a tool to empower entrepreneurs by providing thought provoking articles. It also functions as a virtual community where entrepreneurs can join an open dialogue and share tips with each other. Now approaching its 30th year of service, Harvard Business Services is a leading provider of business formation services and is focused on building upon its tradition of providing comprehensive business solutions combined with unparalleled customer service.
